Michelle’s passion for paediatric and infant nutrition gave fuel to her dream and vision of starting a nutritional company that specialises in superior infant feeds in a ready to use format for the malnourished, sick, immune compromised kids of South Africa and Africa. She wanted to come up with an African solution for and African problem.
Her passion to see this become a reality has helped her overcome a number of challenges such as competing with international brands such as ASPEN and Nestle.
Michelle has had a number of different roles throughout her career both nationally and internationally, from clinical dietitian, head of department at state of the art hospitals, regional key accounts manager in a multinational company and lastly heading up of the nutrition division at FutureLife, which is the fastest growing health food brand in South Africa.
Michelle currently oversees the whole Kairos business including importing of raw materials, manufacturing, packing, distribution and sales.
